Car Rental Timisoara Airport from Expedicar: Rent Skoda OCTAVIA IV aut or Similar

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! I'll give one star because it doesn't allow me to put 0. Attention to these scammers that can't be called otherwise, I made a reservation for a Skoda Octavia sedan with pick-up and drop-off at Otopeni airport, everything was confirmed that the car is available and okay, all was fine until the day I was supposed to pick up the car, on the morning of the reservation day I was contacted by phone by a gentleman I assume was supposed to wait for me at the airport and was told that I should personally come to pick up the car, as it was impossible to get there in time for my landing time, I was understanding and with my money I went to the Expedicar location to pick up the car, I opted for the full insurance reservation meaning 20€ extra for each rented day, I also added an additional driver during the reservation, but during pick up, I had an unpleasant surprise, the drop-off was also at their location of course as the gentlemen could not come to pick it up from the airport. Since the rented car was also driven by the additional driver, he smoked 2 cigarettes and left some cigarette ash marks on the left side of the seat, and the people there strongly insisted on me paying a fine of 1010 lei for smoking inside the car, I obviously refused to pay this amount because a detailing costs 500 lei let's be serious, money doesn't grow on trees, honestly when I returned the car I didn't even realize since I am a non-smoker that someone had smoked in the car, finally, the people there strongly insisted on me paying the amount of 1010 lei for this mess made by 2 cigarettes, I proposed to give me 2 hours to personally clean the car and ozone it but I was refused because it all came down to the fact that I had to leave them 1010 lei for a cleaning that costs 50 lei, now having full insurance on the car, these scammers are not satisfied with the amount paid for all the inconveniences I have been through and they even come with legal threats that I will be sued for this 'negligence' not to mention the fact that the car at pick-up was not cleaned inside, only the floor mats were wiped, the rest was dusty and smelled like plastic from the car dashboard. I will now proceed with a complaint to the National Authority for Consumer Protection regarding all the irregularities from Expedicar company. I leave this review so that other people who rent cars from this company should expect the worst, be very careful with these scammers!
